World Day for Safety and Health at Work

April 28th, let’s celebrate the World Day for Safety and Health at Work!

This date is born in 2003 by the ILO (International Labor Organization), which is 100 years old.

It’s an awareness campaign that focus the international attention on the scale of the problem, to achieve the shared goal of reducing the number of accidents at work and occupational diseases globally.

The active commitment of every organization and people is essential. The Agrati Group adheres to this initiative symbolically, as a further opportunity to raise awareness among its employees on this subject.

The Agrati Group can certainly boast of having raised the levels of safety and health within its own Plants over the years, espousing the principles of Sustainable Development, making innovation, improvements on machines and plants, but also by investing in human capital through the involvement and continuous training.

Obviously the contribution of each of us is essential, in order to protect ourselves without endangering others, and actively participating on the implementation of prevention and protection measures defined by the Organization.

The date of April 28th is symbolic, but the hope is that we can apply the prevention of Health and Safety every day in our workplaces, as well as in private life.
