Agrati has a long story of passion and manufacturing pride. A little company born in Brianza and now a leading global organization due to the contribution of thousands of people from different cultures sharing the same values.

  • 1939

    Agrati in the early Forties was a small mechanical engineering company. In its first years of activity, screw and bolt production was limited to woodscrews, articles for carpentry parts and rod linkages.

  • 1949

    Agrati started to produce saddles in a department ad-hoc that kept the brand name Prestigio for ten years.

  • 1959

    URAMA SIMMONDS was founded by Agrati and Simmonds, a leading French company in the production of self-locking ring nuts.

  • 1960

    Screw sector was strengthened with a new series of fast and 4 stations cold forging. This year was strong even for the nut sector.

  • 1962

    Saddle production began during the Fifties involving new customers as Alfa Romeo, Moto Guzzi, Garelli, Lancia, OM, but it was stopped in 1962 due to the market contraction.

  • 1974

    Attrezzerie Adda has been created in order to manufacture tooling for all Agrati plants.

  • 1983

    Heat treatment capability was improved with the purchase of new furnaces of continuous line cycle  that gradually replaced the old furnaces designed at Veduggio.

  • 1985

    Installation of a large automatic warehouse with a capacity of 12,000 pallet places.

  • 1989

    Expansion in Agrati’s production volume. The 25.373 tons produced in 1979 increased to 44.526 in 1989.

  • 1990

    Raw materials preparation and heat treatments were centralised.

  • 1999

    Further increase of special production for automotive customers.

  • 2001

    All Italian legal entities merge under Agrati Spa and Agrati Group Fastening Systems was created

  • 2002

    New Technical Building was created in Veduggio.

  • 2003

    CVB Acquisition in Tronzano Vercellese.

  • 2005

    YAF (Yantai Agrati Fasteners) Foundation in Shandong area (People’s Republic of China).

  • 2008

    Agrati University’s creation.

  • 2009

    New Logistic center in Trezzo sull’Adda..

  • 2010

    Acquisition of 4 Acument plants in France.

  • 2012

    YAF: phase 2 has been completed with creation of New Building of 6.000sqm.

  • January 1, 2015

    Agrati USA Corporation was born.

  • June 1, 2015

    Agrati FSP: New Logistic center in Verona.

  • December 31, 2015

    Agrati France: New Logistic center in Val Guiers.

  • January 1, 2016

    YAF: phase three expansion has been completed improving the productive capacity.

    Creation of the new R&D Tech Centre in Veduggio.

    Agrati Group acquires Continental Midland Group (CMG) a leading North America engineered fastener company.

    Agrati Group launches a new technical and R&D Center in the North America.

    Agrati re-branding with the launch of its new logo and the pay-off “World Fastener Solutions”.

    Agrati CVB expands its plant by 6000 square metres.

    Agrati France: inauguration of the new heat and surface treatment lines at Val Guiers plant.
