Sustainability as a key mechanism to address the future challenges and to create a healthy development model for us, future generations and the environment that surrounds us.
In line with its corporate strategy, Agrati continues to engage in compliance with environmental, social and governance best practices (ESG).
The monitoring and the understanding of the external context, within a circular economy strategy, in the perspective of a sustainability report, now as in the past, becomes essential to grow and continue to invest in research and development.
In this section of its website, Agrati intends to share with stakeholders its sustainability report, containing the performance achieved.

“We want to communicate the integration of environmental, social and governance aspects in business processes, strategy, and corporate model of Agrati Group”.

AGRATI CARBON NEUTRALITY STRATEGY

“Passion in sustainable business
and trust in our abilities.”

The impacts of Agrati both on social and environmental sustainability are clear and on this front the Group wants to turn them into an opportunity to rethink its strategy and shift towards a long term value creation approach.
To this end Agrati has developed a Decarbonization Strategy, with the ambition of reaching Carbon Neutrality by 2039.
The strategy, developed by the ERM Sustainability function, aims to define a clear decarbonization trajectory, anticipating the milestones set by the Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal of 2050 Carbon Neutrality.

Sustainability

In order to reach these ambitious targets Agrati will use the following levers in order to reduce its CO2 emissions: the improvement of energy efficiency in various stages of production, the purchase and generation of electricity from renewable energy sources, the use of low impact steel, the shift towards Hydrogen, and the purchase of steel produced from scrap (Electric Arc Furnace process).
With this Carbon Strategy Agrati aims to become a decarbonization leader amongst its peers and aims to remain in line with the sustainable innovations of the automotive industry.

WE SUPPORT UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT

As part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, we embedded the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into strategies and operations, and committed to respecting human and labour rights, safeguarding the environment, and working against corruption in all its forms.

CARBON DISCLOSURE PROJECT (CDP)

Agrati has received C score from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP); the result is based on the data reported through CDP’s 2022 Climate Change questionnaire. CDP is an international not-for-profit charity that provides disclosure systems on environmental information, in the categories of Climate Change and Water Security. The positive outcome of the CDP survey is a further recognition of our strong focus on environmental targets.
