In the last weeks we were at Fassi’s brand new Innovation Center, in Nembro (BG – Italy), which will open in October 2023, and there we installed our third intelligent talking bolt on one of the largest crane models in Fassi’s wide range

THE EXPERIENCE OF FASSI WITH TOKBO

Rossano Ceresoli, Chief R&D Officer, of Fassi said: „The Tokbo system, in addition to its native monitoring functions for maintenance purposes, has allowed us to validate and demonstrate the accuracy of our calculation method, finding that it joins to what our engineers designed. The sensors provided by Tokbo enabled us to measure, easily and accurately, complex phenomena, such as the asymmetry of the stresses acting on our cranes, quantifying their real existing loads, and the influence of vibrations and temperature gradients. The research activity proceeds no stop, exploring the various potentials that Tokbo technology provides, such as monitoring and influencing dynamic stresses. Tokbo has proven to be a system that is quick and easy to install, accurate and useful in collecting data on screw tightening.
